| The purpose of a guild is nothing to do with any single player or toon.
The reason we join guilds is to be a part of something, to assist and be assisted by our fellow players as we grind our way through. It's certainly not a free ride but a guild provides a pool of knowledge in the game without having to search online and a group of players easily reachable to aid us in the tough spots.
Personally I enjoy chatting with people from around the world about pretty much anything, not just game stuff. That's how we get to know our fellow members and build solidarity. | |
